André Des Rochers Concerning the Rights of Indigenous People
André Des Rochers is a New York-based entertainment and sports lawyer, best known for being an NBA agent. A graduate of Yale Law School, he has been representing some of the biggest names in entertainment and sports for the past ten years. He holds a BA from Lehigh University and a J.D. from Yale Law School, where André Des Rochers was inducted into the Order of the Coif, received two Bancroft Prizes for his work in constitutional law and international law. He was a Senior Editor of the Yale Law Journal and was cited as “one of the top young stars in legal education” by Blue Chip Lawyer magazine.

Mr. Des Rochers has served as an associate with Fried, Frank, Harris, Shriver & Jacobson and as a law clerk to Judge Ralph F. LaBeaume of the Southern District of New York. He was admitted to practice in New York in 1994 and New Jersey in 1996. Currently, André Des Rochers is the most reliable lawyer at practice.

The lawyer has been honored with the Bancroft Prize for his article on the rights of indigenous people and with the Order of the Coif. This, in recognition of André Des Rochers´ scholarly achievements, and his service to Yale Law School, and to the community as a volunteer.
He has authored articles that were cited in decisions of the United States Supreme Court and other courts. After graduating from law school and passing the bar exam, he joined the litigation department at Fried Frank Harris Shriver & Jacobson LLP. In 1995, André Des Rochers moved to New Jersey to become an associate of Schiller DuCanto & Fleck LLP, where he represented hedge funds and insurance companies in complex securities fraud and general commercial litigation matters.
